Myself, Krishnaraj Jayaram, an IT Professional hailing from Kerala, India also called God’s Own Country, am Currently settled in Salalah, Oman for the Job-related. But also a loving father, son, brother, husband(need to double-check with wife..hahaha) also a good employee for my company (that also need to double-check with my boss.. haha.. Just kidding)
For me Photography is a combination of love for nature, love, patience, and passion … I believe it’s a blessing from God to see and witness the beautiful moments happening in nature and save it for future generations. See, as much as I love shooting the image, I love sharing them even more. I want you to see what I’ve seen and experienced with these little snaps I take.
I started my Photography when I was working in Bahrain, and at that time my main motivator was my wife now of course she is regretting that. Hahaha. Started with Nikon 5100 with 18-55 Kit lens and then moved to Canon 60D. But I knew that I was not a good photographer, it could be I was not knowing how to take, or it could be the lack of subjects in Bahrain for Photography
Then in early 2016, I moved from Bahrain to Salalah, and there started my beautiful journey towards the happiness of photography. I have joined a club called Salalah Photography Club lead by Anidas (we call him Anibhai) and learned a lot of things about photography. Currently, I am one of the admin members of my favorite club. In Salalah, June – September, it is good for Landscape and then after for Birding and Wildlife. Salalah is one of the major areas of Migratory birds. At this point, I understand that Canon will not be able to give the output which I need and then decided to go back to Nikon. I have then purchased my first full-frame camera and that makes me more energy to take more wonderful images, then taken D500 for Wildlife. As we need to move along with the latest technology, I decided to move to Mirrorless and now I am having only one camera which is a Nikon Z6ii which gives me all the freedom to take any kind of pictures. Lens what I have is Nikon 200-500, Nikon 50mm 1.8, Nikon 28-300. Tokina 16-28, Godox 860ii, Nest Carbon Fibre Tripod, Nest Carbon Fibre Monopod, and ND filter sets
From 2012 when I started, I was nothing and now I can say I am a photographer but still amateur. hahaha
It's been a LONG STORY now... I don't want to make you all bored more...Hahahaha...
So, thank you for stopping by – in reality, YOU’RE the one doing me the favor. If I didn’t have someone to share my photos with, there wouldn’t be much point in taking them in the first place, isn’t it???
Yours Loving,
KJ
